Shots From The Poconos (uno)

I was recently in the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania and there was so much to indulge in, visually. After a final flourish of color, Nature strips down to her skeletons for the winter to come, when she keeps it at a minimum. And surfaces and the insides of things attract my attention—perhaps especially the skeletons that bear the weight. But you already know that.

Then I returned home and started playing around in Photoshop (as well as in the usual Lightroom) and these are the results from the first day of improvising. Some of its charm (the software’s, that is…) is more obvious in some pictures more than others.

To come will be photos in a variety of charms. I hope you enjoy them.
